Divisa tra due culture, una ragazzina cade in una giungla immaginaria per sfuggire alla sua vita quotidiana. Guidata da una goccia, si ritrova davanti alle sue radici e si rende conto che il suo patrimonio sarà per sempre una parte importante della sua identità.

Split between two cultures, a young girl falls into an imaginary jungle to escape her daily life. Guided by a drop, she finds herself in front of her roots and realises her heritage will forever be an important part of her identity.

Valeria Weerasinghe è un’illustratrice, regista e programmatrice di animazione Italo Srilankese. Il suo lavoro esplora i temi dell’identità culturale e dell’introspezione nella vita di tutti i giorni attraverso l’uso di colori forti e movimento. In precedenza ha lavorato con studi di animazione europei importanti come Lupus Films e Cartoon Saloon.

Valeria Weerasinghe is an Italian Sri Lankan illustrator, filmmaker and animation programmer. Her work explores themes of cultural identity and introspection in everyday life through the use of bold colours and movement. She has previously worked with award winning studios and clients such as Lupus Films and Cartoon Saloon.
